Baggage information
Carry-On Allowance: 1 Bag + 1 Personal Item
Each passenger is allowed to carry on one bag and one personal item such as a laptop bag, handbag, or briefcase. Assistive devices and outer garments do not count as personal items. All carry-on luggage must fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you. You must be able to lift your carry-on into the overhead storage without assistance. All carry-on bags must adhere to the following requirements:
- Maximum Dimensions of Carry-on Luggage: 45 linear in/115 cm (length 55 cm + width 35 cm + height 25 cm)
- Maximum Weight of Carry-on Luggage: 18 lb/8 kg
Due to airport security regulations, no cabin baggage is allowed on any flights originating from Jammu and Srinagar airports.

- Maximum Dimensions: 62 linear inches/158 cm (length + width + height)
- Maximum Weight: 44 lb/20 kg
Overweight Baggage Fees
Excess baggage is charged Rs. 70 per kg over 20 kg.

Children information
Do I need to reserve a seat for my infant?
Infants under the age of 2 years, as of the last date of travel, cannot travel in their own seat and must be seated in an adult's lap. No baby/car seats or strollers are allowed in the aircraft cabin. No extra seats may be booked for infants, and infants do not qualify for a free baggage allowance. Only one lap child is allowed per adult.
Will I pay for my infant to travel?
Yes, a child up to two years old (24 months) is charged a fee of Rs. 525 plus the government PSF of Rs. 225.
What if my child turns two on the trip; will I have to buy a ticket for the return flight?
Yes, a ticket will have to be purchased for any flight on which the infant will be over two years old.
Can I sit in the exit row with my infant?
Lap children are not allowed in an exit row. In fact, all passengers in an exit row must be at least 15 years of age.

Pets` information
IndiGo does not permit the carriage of animals on its flights.
Guide dogs for blind passengers are exempt from this rule, but any passenger traveling with a guide dog should contact the IndiGo call centre at 1 800 180 3838 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 1 800 180 3838 end_of_the_skype_highlighting. Please note that guide dogs for the blind may not occupy any seat. The passenger is required to bring a moisture absorbent mat, and to place it under the guide dog. The guide dog should be properly trained, restrained, and muzzled.
