Statement regarding Lufthansa pilots' strike settlement

Lufthansa confirms that it has reached a settlement with its pilots' union, Vereinigung Cockpit (VC), to suspend strike activity as of 6:00 pm eastern standard time, Feb. 22, 2010 until March 8, 2010.
The current special flight schedule for intercontinental flights, however, will remain in place for today, Feb. 23, 2010. Passengers who are scheduled to travel on Feb. 24-25 are advised to check lufthansa.com for updates to the schedule.
Normal flight schedule is expected for Friday, Feb. 26, 2010.
