Visit some of the historical places like the Āraiši Castle Lake Museum or the ruins of the Rezekne castle. Learn something about the history of Latvia – full of twists and dramatic moments. Stroll along the deserted beach of the Baltic Sea or take a walk in the Gauja National Park.

If you prepare your vacations carefully, you certainly will want to see the Old Town of Riga, famous with its 13th-18th century fortifications, the Riga Castle and its teutonic and hanseatic heritage. Riga is small beautiful city that preserved its old look. But don’t forget to travel around a bit more – go to Ventspils, Kuldiga, Cēsis and Liepāja. These small towns have their own unique charm.

Latvia isn’t big tourist destination and the branch is still developing. The best time to visit the country is during the summer. The winters in Latvia are clod and there are no winter resorts to visit. The country is easily reached by boat or by plain.
