Ruzyne-Prague Airport is a modern and spacious international airport located on the northwest edge of Prague and around 17 km north of the city. All international flights arrive here - there is no other civil airport in Prague.

Ruzyne is the main entrance to the city and country for arriving passengers. With the current renovation of the airport, ongoing and the opening of the new Terminal 2 Ruzyne will become a big modern European airport with many facilities and good service.

Prague Airport serves up to 1.2 million people a month. For example - the population of the city is slightly larger in number. Ruzyne is among the top 30 airports in Europe with 12 million passengers per year. Its popularity has been boosted by the number of budget airlines now benefiting from Prague's location in Central Europe, making Ruzyne convenient for airport transfers.
