Safari In Tanzania

06/24/2016

Tanzania has recently been named the number one destination for safaris and with good reason. Not only is it home to the Serengeti but it has stunning landscapes like the Ngorongoro Crater as well as the Lake Manyara National Park. Your safari hopefully allows you to see the Big 5 that is always talked about in regards to Africa.

On average, safaris cost anywhere between $1135 per person for tent camping for a week up to $6000 and above per person for full accomodations and all meals included for two full weeks. With the price of your safari, it usually includes private daily transportation in and around the Serenegeti and outlying areas. You may also receive special features depending on the company you're touring with.

While in Tanzania, if the safari isn't enough to get the full experience you are looking for, you may also want to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, the world's largest free-standing peak. It takes a little over a week but the views are uncomparable.

All in all, Tanzania has a little of everything for everyone. So unleash your inner adventurer and explore the great unknown of Africa.
