Baggage information

Carry-on Allowance: One Bag + One Personal Item
Each passenger is allowed to carry on one bag and one personal item such as a purse or briefcase. Assistive devices and outer garments do not count as personal items. All carry-on luggage must fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you and adhere to the following requirements:
* Maximum Dimensions of Carry-on Luggage: 22 in x 18 in x 10 in/56 cm x 45 cm x 25 cm
* Maximum Weight of Carry-on Luggage: 22 lb/10 kg
REMINDER: Bulkhead seats do not have underseat storage during take-off and landing.

Checked Baggage Allowance :
Short-haul flights (intra-Europe)
* Economy - Low fare: No free baggage allowance. Baggage fees apply for each checked bag.
* Economy - Flexifare: 2 free checked bags
* A maximum of 44 lb/20 kg in total checked baggage weight per passenger.

Long-haul Flights (to/from USA)
Economy Class/Low fare:
* Baggage Allowance: 1 free checked bag
* Maximum Weight: 50 lb/23 kg
* Maximum Dimensions of first checked bag: 62 in/158 cm (length + width + height)
* Maximum Dimensions of subsequent checked bag: 55 in/140 cm (length + width + height)

Economy Class/Flexifare:

* Baggage Allowance: 2 free checked bags
* Maximum Weight of each bag: 50 lb/23 kg
* Maximum Dimensions of first checked bag: 62 in/158 cm (length + width + height)
* Maximum Dimensions of subsequent checked bag: 55 in/140 cm (length + width + height)

Business Class:

* Baggage Allowance: 3 free checked bags
* Maximum Weight of each bag: 70 lb/32 kg
* Maximum Combined Weight of all checked bags: 150 lb/69 kg
* Infant Baggage Allowance: 22 lb/10 kg, in addition to one collapsible stroller
Checked Baggage Fees:
Long-haul Flights (to/from USA)
* Economy - 2nd and each subsequent bag weighing up to 50 lb/23 kg will be charged.
* Flexifare - 3rd and each subsequent bag weighing up to 50 lb/23 kg will be charged.
* Business Class - 3 bags up to a total of 150 lb/69 kg carried free of charge.
Flights between Europe and USA:
* Bags weighing up to 50 lb/23 kg: €40 / £36 / $50
* Bags weighing 50 lb - 70 lb//23 kg - 32 kg: €40 / £36 / $50

No pooling or sharing of baggage allowances is permitted, even within a party traveling on the same booking. The fees are non-refundable.

Children information

Do i Need to reserve seat for my infant:
Children up to 2 years old (24 months), are not required to have their own seat. You must, however, inform Aer Lingus that you will be traveling with an infant on your lap and pay 10% of the applicable adult fare plus taxes. Lap children can only be held by passengers who are at least 15 years of age.
Only one lap child is allowed per adult. If one adult is traveling with more than one infant under 2 years of age, a seat will have to be purchased for each additional infant.
You can also choose to purchase a seat for your infant, as long as you bring an approved, forward facing car seat for the child to sit in.
What Infant amenities are available on the aircraft :
Infant amenities vary by aircraft. When you're on the airplane page, look for the Infant Amenity Icon. If it is present, clicking on it will tell you what infant services are available on that airplane. If you do not see it, infant amenities are not offered on that aircraft. Pets` information

On which routes does Aer Lingus allow pets?
Animals/pets can be booked on direct flights between Ireland and New York, Boston, Chicago, Washington, and Orlando on Aer Lingus flights only. However, due to the duration of flights from Dublin to Los Angeles and San Francisco, Aer Lingus will not carry pets on these routes.

Animals/pets cannot be carried on flights to and from the UK and Europe. It is the passenger's responsibility to ensure that they adhere to the regulations of the country to which they are traveling. All animals will be transported in the cargo hold.
What breeds of dogs cannot travel on Aer Lingus? Due to industry reports of serious damage to aircraft as a result of dogs becoming loose in aircraft holds, the following breeds of dogs are not to be carried under any circumstances on any Aer Lingus aircraft:

* Akita
* Dogo Argentino
* Fila Brazillero
* Mastiff
* Pit Bull
* Tosa
What if I am traveling with a service animal?

You must inform Aer Lingus reservation staff at the time of booking if you plan to travel with a service animal.

Service animals (seeing eye dogs) may be carried in the cabin on all short-haul and long-haul flights. Service animals such as seeing eye dogs are carried free of charge. An overall maximum of three seeing eye dogs may be carried in the cabin.
